Blackpool Community Church - Our Vision
Here are some insights into our vision - the list is under review and is not exclusive
- To see the Kingdom of God come in its fullness
- To see God glorified and for him to be centre, source and totality of all that we do
- To make Jesus famous throughout the region and beyond
- To establish a dynamic Spirit filled community:
- Every person feeling valued and finding their true place in the Body
- Every person functioning, flourishing and being fulfilled.
- Every person coming to the fullness of their stature in Christ
- To see everyone, both old and young, grow strong in the Lord:
- Empowered to lead victorious lives
- Effective in evangelism and outreach
- Enjoying spiritual, emotional, physical and mental health
- Equipped in their knowledge of the scriptures, sensitive to the Holy Spirit and dynamic in prayer
- For families to live out a fulfilled and happy life-style that will be an example to all
- Living within their means and not under the pressure of debt
- With orderly homes and happy, well behaved children
- To see children reach full potential, to help each of them in their destiny.
- To reach out in the locality and Fylde coast in evangelism
- To be effective as Salt and Light:
- By members becoming involved in education, arts, local government, business and commerce, etc.
- By seeking to have an effect on general standards and behaviour, not only in our own area but nationally
- To speak up for righteousness and justice
- To reach for the ends of the earth:
- By giving financially to missions, primarily through established relationship with Apostolic and other Ministries
- By sending people overseas to preach the gospel, provide practical help and encouragement to believers
- By prayer and maintaining current awareness
- To strengthen existing relationships and work together with those of the same heart and mind in achieving these aims
- Currently there are partnerships and projects in active development, details of which will be released in due course
